Hello!
I’m GJ Kemp, the Director and Founder of Ausim. I grew up in the vast landscapes of the Kalahari, where I developed a strong sense of resilience and a passion for problem-solving, which I bring to my role at Ausim.
I completed my studies at the North- West University, before moving down to Western Cape, where I am based now.
I’m particularly fascinated by Blockchain technology and its potential to revolutionize the financial industry. I love finding opportunities for my clients that benefit everyone involved. Building strong, meaningful relationships is at the heart of what I do, and I strive to create tailored financial solutions that drive success and efficiency.
Outside of work, I enjoy hunting, watching movies, and having a braai with friends and family. I’m also interested in Japan, crypto, blockchain, and alternative investments. I continuously try to learn and stay ahead in the ever-evolving financial landscape.

Freddie Lubbe

Born in the north and currently based in the south, I moved from Limpopo to Cape Town after my studies and later relocated to the Garden Route.
I have spent my career working closely with small and medium-sized businesses across a range of industries, and I understand the daily pressure business owners face when it comes to managing finances, meeting deadlines and staying compliant in an ever-changing regulatory environment. My approach is practical, structured and detail-driven – focused on keeping things clear, accurate and well-organised, while also looking beyond compliance to support better decision-making and sustainable business growth.
I see my role as being part of my clients’ team – not just someone who ensures deadlines are met, but someone who provides clarity, consistency and financial insight that helps businesses move forward with confidence.
Outside of the office, I value family life and enjoy following a wide range of sport. Since moving to the Garden Route, I have also come to appreciate the local way of life, especially fishing, and the balance it brings.

I’m Andre Gerber, the People Partner at Ausim Advisory. I grew up in Vredenburg on the West Coast. My passion for people, business, and labour relations started early, influenced by a family deeply rooted in the world of business. That foundation shaped the way I approach my work today — practical, solutions-driven, and always relationship-focused.
I completed my studies in Labour Relations and Behavioural Sciences at the North West University, Potchefstroom Campus, and over the years built my career as an HR and Industrial Relations specialist, working with businesses across South Africa in the CCMA, union engagement, restructuring, and strategic HR advisory. Today, I focus on helping companies simplify complex people challenges and build structures that support real business growth.I believe strongly in the personal touch in consulting. For me, it’s never just about compliance — it’s about understanding the business, its people, and finding workable solutions that actually move the needle.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children following sport and having a good braai with friends and a good book to read. I’m passionate about business strategy, employment law, and finding smarter ways to integrate HR/IR into the commercial success of a company.
