Agreed-upon procedures
These procedures refer to me performing a number of procedures based on the specific circumstances and need of the client and furnishing the client with a report, setting out the outcome of the procedures. Examples are:
- Reconciling stock systems in order to quantify stock losses to client and provide clients with a detailed plan on improving stock-movement controls;
- Reconciling, reviewing and testing payments made by personnel to ensure that payments were made in accordance with company policy and to correct suppliers and furnishing clients with a report to improve controls over payments.
Tax structuring
- Analysis and recommendations to a company/group of companies in order to ensure that tax is being effectively managed within the company/group;
- Recommending and implementing corporate restructures in order to achieve an effective tax structure; and
- Providing advice on the correct tax treatment of commercial transactions.
